The purpose of this project was to minimize the amount of space taken up by the electronics in my group’s final project for GEEN 1400 Engineering Projects. Our final project was called the “Cat Cube” and had to humanely remind cats to get off of countertops. This PCB had to connect to an Arduino and control 2 ultrasonic sensors, 2 LEDs, and a speaker. During this project, I learned how to use Eagle to design the PCB and improved my through-hole soldering skills. If I were to do this project again, I would solder all of the components to the same side of the board, so it would sit flat against the bottom of the cube.
